When My America defeated Germany and Japan in World War II our leaders helped their people develop new governments to replace the ones we destroyed.
When My America forced out the governments of Afghanistan and Iraq, our leaders took the responsibility to help the people of those countries create democratic governments to replace the
governments we eliminated
developed.
Unfortunately our current President Barack Obama doesn't appear to care what happens in Libya if Muammar Qaddafi's government is destroyed. Obama is like an adolescent who thinks destroying something is an accomplishment. He fails to recognize that the fall of Muammar Qaddafi could lead to the type of anarchy that exists in Somalia or perhaps a Taliban type government like the one that replaced a Soviet backed tyrant in Afghanistan .
A responsible adult would understand that eliminating a tyrant isn't the end of a process, but the beginning of the process of establishing a new government. The people of Libya should hope that if Obama and the adolescent leaders of NATO destroy their government, that some responsible adults can be found to help the people of Libya establish a government that respects the rights of the Libyan people and doesn't threaten other nations.
