Bin Laden located as U.S. tracked courier based on info from GITMO

TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- U.S. forces found Osama bin Laden in an expensive and heavily guarded compound in a suburb of Pakistan's capital, after identifying and tracking a courier whom the 9/11-attack mastermind trusted, media reports say. For nearly a decade, the U.S. military and intelligence authorities have been tracking bin Laden in Pakistan and Afghanistan. But four years ago the U.S. found out the courier's name and two years ago they figured out the area in which the courier operated, the reports say. The efforts ultimately led to the raid on Sunday on the compound in Abbottabad, 35 miles north of Islamabad, the reports say.
