Only in the delusional minds of spend-drunk Progressive Democrats is the TEA Party to blame for the Standard and Poor downgrade of the US credit worthiness. The TEA Party has demanded fiscal responsibility from the Federal Government like the group Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has demanded drivers remain sober. In the same way a drunk lashes out against anyone who dare intervene in their alcohol binge, the Left has lashed out at the TEA Party.
The Left demands more taxes like a drunk demands more booze. They are so addicted, neither will admit they have a problem.
The TEA Party is the responsible adult who wants to take away the source of the addiction – and resolve the problem. And the addicted spit and sputter and spew venom and rage.
The government’s drug of choice is money. They have a spending problem. Their judgement is clouded by the effects of the drug.
When you hear those poor substance addicted souls lash out at the TEA Party, keep them in your prayers. And have pity and patience. Admitting the problem is the first step – and none have yet reached that point.
Instead of another Debt Reduction Plan that keeps the booze flowing, Congress and the White House need a 12 Step Program.
