Progressive liberal Buzz Bissinger now wants to ban college football

Suddenly, sports is becoming a target of the far left. In baseball, you have Tim McCarver telling you how there are more homeruns nowadays because the air is thinner from global warming. In basketball with the NBA playoffs, you have a fat tub of lard like Charles Barkley threatening Mitt Romney that “We’re Going To Beat You Like A Drum…You’re Going Down, Bro.” And now you have progressive liberal Buzz Bissinger writing in the Wall Street Journal how we should ban college football.

You see, even though a tiny percentage of any school’s students will even play football (or any sport at college), ole Buzz is worried that the costs are high, the benefits to students are low, and academics pay the price. This there NOTHING sacred anymore?
