Rift over electricity use led to confrontation
The effects of the Obama administration's new economic norm, in conjunction with the potential disarming even the most innocent of American citizens has begun to spark some very creative ideas of weaponry. Nicole Marie Wagner |
Nicole Marie Wagner, 32, assaulted her roommate with a decorative spear and threatened to kill her, township police Lt. Robin Weaver said.
The assault occurred around 7:15 p.m. as the pair argued about electricity use in their apartment in the 2000 block of William Penn Way. Wagner had accused her roommate of wasting electricity by not turning off lights.
The roommate, a 31-year-old woman, sustained stab wounds on her back and hand, Weaver said. She was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Police arrested Wagner on charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats. She was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
