Michael Smerconish Distinguishes a Serious Hate Crime From an Insignificant Incident

08/14/13

Michael Smerconish is a smooth fit at MSNBC. Here he assures us that the white kid getting severely beaten by older blacks aboard a school bus was not a hate crime, since the kid deserved it for being a “snitch.” That makes it no biggie, in contrast to the reparable vandalism inflicted upon a statue of liberal deity Jackie Robinson, probably by some misguided slob who couldn’t stand the number 42 being rammed down his throat anymore:

By affixing the otherwise meaningless label “hate crime” to the second incident, Smerconish is instructing liberal viewers to regard it as far more serious. But a statue is just a statue. Children feel pain — even white children.

On a tip from The Only Other Conservative in Seattle.
