RPOF to Expel Shark Tank From Committee

by Javier Manjarres

Yesterday, the Republican Party of Florida’s (RPOF) Grievance Committee agreed to expel yours truly from my position of Alternate Committeeman of the Broward REC. I have confirmed with the RPOF that the expulsion will be for a term of (2) years. What is most unethical about this disciplinary action is that the confidential decision had not even been penned for recommendation to the Chairman but was prematurely leaked by one of the (7) members of the Grievance committee to supporters of (most likely) Broward REC Chairman Richard DeNapoli, who then took it upon themselves to post the decision in the comments section of one of the Shark Tank’s prior posts.

The RPOF also acknowledged that Richard DeNapoli had called to find out the committees’ findings, raising their suspicion that he was person that the meeting’s decision was leaked to.

This incident speaks volumes as to how far the RPOF has declined during the past six months- these were the first months of the new leadership whose responsibility it was to repair the damage done by former Chairman Jim Greer. It was also unfortunate to bear witness to the biased judgments and aspersions that were leveled against me at the Grievance Committee meeting by the Chairman of the Committee, R.B. Davis. Davis showed a lack of respect with his conduct towards myself, and it brings to question the former Judge’s character and lack of integrity. Former Judge Davis should be removed of his position as Chairman of the Grievance Committee because he has proven that he cannot be impartial in matters before the committee.

It is also very curious that the RPOF decided to part ways with me and The Shark Tank blog because I felt compelled and obligated to call out Chairman DeNapoli for his questionable ethics and the divisive pariah that he is- a problem the RPOF was aware of, but did nothing to address. I make no apologies, and I stand by my every word.

It seems as if the RPOF has not changed its stripes since the days of Greer, and they seem much more preoccupied with the perception of the Party in the public eye. They would much rather let the Charlie Crist Republican and Greer-esque Chairman DeNapoli continue to intimidate and threaten fellow committeemen than sanction him for his antics simply to prevent any further embarrassment for the party.

We have all seen this same sad story play out before, as the State Republican party turned the other way and let former RPOF Chairman Greer run the party into the ground, embarrassing both the state and national parties. Do they not learn from their mistakes?

Furthermore, I am withdrawing any and all future support to the RPOF, including the support that I offered and was accepted by the Party for the Presidency 5 event in September. It would be hypocritical for me to support the RPOF after they have shown disregard for both the party and myself. It has also come to my attention that the RPOF itself is possibly working with Democrats to help run the media aspect of the Presidency 5 event. Because this allegation has been substantiated to me, I also implore any and all conservative bloggers to reconsider attending Presidency 5 until this allegation can be proven by the RPOF to be wrong.
