Herman Cain’s presidential campaign is out with an almost six-minute-long video hawking his “9-9-9” tax plan, deriding the current tax code as a “dorky, mechanical monster” and making extravagant predictions about how much better life would be under “9-9-9.”
Under “9-9-9,” the video says, “We would add $2 trillion to GDP and create 6 million jobs. Business investment would increase by a third. Wages would go up by 10 percent. At the same time, federal revenues would go up 15 percent.”

It’s the kind of thing that Cain fans may enjoy, that Cain detractors will laugh at, and that shows, in any case, how little Cain’s message has evolved since the summer.
