ICE Provides Free Abortions and Hormone Therapy for Illegal Aliens

Mar 7, 2012

Moonbattery:

If you find it difficult to force others to pay for your medical needs, there’s no need to wait for the full implementation of ObamaCare. Just immigrate to Mexico, then illegally sneak back into the USA. Anything you want will be handed to you on a silver platter, compliments of American taxpayers — including even abortion and hormone therapy for sex change freaks:

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the division the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for enforcing the nation’s immigration laws, will provide “hormone therapy” to illegal aliens it has detained who say they are transgender, according to the agency’s operations manual for its detention facilities. …

The ICE detention operations manual also says that illegal alien detainees who are pregnant will be provided with help not just for an impending delivery but also in obtaining an abortion.

Every detention facility, reads the report, “shall directly or contractually provide its female detainees with access to: 1. pregnancy services including routine or specialized prenatal care, postpartum follow-up, lactation services and abortion services as outlined herein; 2. counseling and assistance for pregnant women in keeping with their express desires in planning for their pregnancy, whether they desire abortion, adoptive services or to keep the child; ….”

Any illegal alien babies who survive our liberal rulers’ love of abortion will of course be regarded as US citizens with full rights to vote and sponge off entitlements — not that Third-World colonists have any problem voting or affixing their lips to the welfare teat without legal status.

How much is this red carpet service costing us?

ICE’s estimated budget for fiscal year 2012 (which began Oct. 1, 2011) is $5.8 billion.

They sure aren’t spending that money enforcing immigration law.

Not even Europe could be more extravagantly generous in subsidizing its own demise.
