ICNA’s nationwide campaign of sugar coating Shariah rolled into Anaheim, California this last Tuesday, April 19th. On this particular stop, attendees were entertained by the smooth talking Tariq Ramadan. Yes, the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. It was in 2010 that Hillary Clinton lifted the ban on him traveling to the United States. And he is making up for lost time by pushing LARGE bottles of snake oil.
The evening started off with a prayer, recited in Arabic. Fortunately, one of our team members is fluent in Arabic so was able to translate it. “The opening prayer was the Exordium (Shurah 1) which includes the lines, guide us in the straight path (Shariah) the path of those whom You have favored, not of those who have incurred Your wrath (meaning the Jews), nor of those who have gone astray (meaning the Christians). The tone was now set for the remainder of the evening. The moderator then took the stage and pleaded with the predominantly Muslim audience to stay away from the 40 plus people gathered outside staging a protest to this Muslim Brotherhood event. The poster I saw were very factual and in good taste. Slogans such as: What is Islam doing for peace; Islam is anti-Semitic (in line with the opening prayer); 18,000 plus people killed since 9/11 in the name of Islam. Additionally the flyers they were passing out were based on facts from the doctrine of Islam. No wonder why the moderator did not want the audience to engage in discussion with those protesting. Can’t have the sheep learning the real truth about Islam.
The room was filled to capacity, which told me the 400 plus Muslims were thirsting to hear the Muslim Brotherhood’s latest orders. And how the progress in their conquest of the United States of America is coming.
Next up was Sheikh Abdur Rahman Khan of the Muslim Brotherhood linked ICNA. He spoke briefly about Shariah and how it was no different than Christian Canon Law or Jewish Halakah Law. Shariah is the way for Muslims to lead their lives, according to Khan.
Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi upon taking the stage seemed somewhat alarmed as he made mention of the protest or community educational outreach. He also reminded the flock not to engage with those informed people.
During the 20 minute commercial for prayers, the sheep showed their allegiance to the Brotherhhod. Men were separated from women, this inline with Shariah practice.
It was now time to hear from the Muslim Brotherhood master himself, Dr. Tariq Ramadan. Well known for his double talk. He delivers one speech to Western audiences, and then when talking on the same subject to Islamic country audiences it is quite different. He wasted not time by saying that Shariah is what inspired the Western legal systems. Everyone knows that Shariah is a very open and flexible system. You must have Shariah in your heart according to Tariq. Also, there is no need to reform Islam, the need is to reform the individual. This was the Dawah part of his speech. According to their prophet, non-Muslims have three choices, submit, pay the Jizyah or be killed. Muslims have the same rights as do Christians and Jews in America said Tariq. I guess he is pleased with the progress they are making here as he reminded his people that “we have time”.
All questions had to be written down on a piece of paper and submitted for scrutiny. Needless to say, none of ours were selected. Of course not, he must protect his flock from hearing the truth.
