A Cameron County man remains behind bars after he allegedly molested a girl and then tried to do it several more times.
Authorities booked Osbaldo Ybarra into the Cameron County Jail on an indecency with a child charge on Monday.
Court records show that the incident happened on South Bowie Street in San Benito back in October 2012.
Ybarra is accused of molesting a girl when she was 12 years old back in 2011 but then he allegely tried to do it again one year later.
The girl told investigators that she kept the first time a secret but came forward after she was sleeping and caught him trying to molest her at least four times in one night.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse but the records show that Ybarra had access to the girl through her family.
San Benito police investigated the case and obtained an arrest warrant in February 2013.
Ybarra remained a fugitive until his arrest on Monday. He remains in custody without a bond at the Cameron County Jail.
