Full Details On New Verizon Data Plans Leaked

Android Central got their mitts on the official internal training charts as well as a lengthy email to Verizon Wireless retailers explaining the nitty gritty on how the new tiered data plans work, and how much they're going to cost you.
Like we told you earlier, the plans will be $10 for 75MB, $30 for 2GB, $50 for 5GB, and $80 for 10 GB. There will be a $10 per GB surcharge for overages.
More clarifications are added in the documents about how business discounts will apply and how existing customers can get and keep unlimited plans.
Moral of the story is that if you think an unlimited plan is going to be cheaper for your usage than one of these new plans, now is a good time to get one. Unlimited plans will be grandfathered in and honored, but after 7/7 you won't be allowed to get one.
With smartphone use increasing and more people surfing and doing data stuff on their phones, and with people not being very good judges of how much data they plan on using up each month, this new pricing structure should make Verizon a lot of money.
