Obama: The Real Reason for Afghanistan Troop Withdrawals

Obama: The Real Reason for Afghanistan Troop Withdrawals

Obama just announed large planned troop withdrawals in Afghanistan. Everyone is now relieved-wow-we are bringing the troops home!

Yet the thing Americans should ask themselves this question: Why announced it now and what does it mean? The real answer-the one no one in the media will ever touch and the average American will not think of- is Libya. The Libyan war is not going well. No progress is being made against Kaddafi and the Amercian public polls show over 70% against it. Also, the coalition of NATO is starting to fracture as Italy wants a time out. Notice the timing of yesterdays press conference. The House is set to vote on the Libyan war and its funding. Yet Obama has taken the focus off all of this. All anyone talks about now is Afghanistan. This is media manipulation at its best. Mr. "Peace" Obama takes the Dove accolades, creates a new mini controversy and changes the focus all while the Libyan war continues. Never mind the military ramifications of what this means-like our enemies being embolded and our allies feeling sold out, or any other military ramifications that need to be thought through. A quiet steading withdrawal could certainly have been done without fanfare.

Keep your eye on Libya as its Obama's handlers number one priority. They want Libya on their financial grid along with control of his Oil and Gold. Don't get me wrong-I don't like Kaddafi and just telling it like it is.

The takeaway is this: Obama and his media allies have shifted the focus at a critical time to save the Libyan war.
