Four men are in custody in connection to the death of a man killed by a ricochet bullet in Roma.
The murder happened Friday night on South Eagel Street.
Investigators confirm a tip led to the arrest of four men who went to the victims house with murder suspect Joel Alejandrez, who is still at-large.
Roma police charged 18-year-old Adrian Martinez and his 18-year-old brother Carlos Alberto Martinez tampering with physical evidence.
They allegedly hid the 9 mm handgun that was used in the shooting.
Detective charged 17-year-old Jose Angel Gomez and his 19-year-old Jesus Roberto Gomez with failure to report a felony.
Roma police told Action 4 News that Alejandrez argued with the victim over the phone and went to his house to fight him Friday night.
As he approached the house, Alejandrez allegedly fired 10 rounds towards the ground but one of the bullets ricocheted hitting the victim in the hip going through his stomach.
The victim, who has only been identified as a man in his 20s, died at McAllen Medical Center.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted today.
Investigators said they believe drugs are the motive for the shooting.
Police were able to recover the weapon.
Alejandrez was last seen in a four door Red Chevy Sonic with dark tint.
