Nevertheless, Penn State officials in University Park told WJAC-TV that they had identified 80 students who traveled to areas near the Ebola Virus outbreak.
These students were monitored by the university for virus symptoms, the TV report said.
University officials said the students were spread out across all Penn State campuses and were not just located at the main campus in State College, WJAC said.
Background: Ebola is spread through bodily fluids and is spread from person to person but is not as easily spread as other illnesses like a cold or flu.
