Harry Reid Whines About Loss, Passes Blame On Most Unlikely Person

Democrats were squirming in their chairs last night after losing the Senate to Republicans, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is irate, and he has only one person to blame for the devastating loss.
Sen. Reid was ousted from his position, and it seems he’s taken a move from Obama’s playbook and is passing the buck for his own incompetency. However, Reid’s finger-pointing might actually be warranted.
Weasel Zippers reports:
Let the circular firing squad begin. In a report by the Washington Post David Krone, chief of staff of dethroned Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), tossed the Democrats’ brutal midterm odds at the feet of President Barack Obama, arguing the White House undercut Senate fundraising efforts while saddling candidates with his unpopularity.
“The president’s approval rating is barely 40 percent,” Krone told the Post in the days before the election. “What else more is there to say? … He wasn’t going to play well in North Carolina or Iowa or New Hampshire. I’m sorry. It doesn’t mean that the message was bad, but sometimes the messenger isn’t good.”
Krone characterized working with the White House as “difficult” and gave voice to Democratic resentment that Obama’s electoral operation is more for his benefit than the party’s. “I don’t think that the political team at the White House truly was up to speed and up to par doing what needed to get done,” he said.
Reid’s staff is relaying the message that the Democrats believe voters turned on them because of Obama’s horrible approval rating, and that’s understandable. One thing the left failed to recognize is that voters weren’t only fed up with the unconstitutional actions of the Commander-in-Chief, but the inaction and stiff-arming of the Senate.
Now that Republicans have control of both the House and Senate, it’s vital to take out the trash before we can do and damage repair. Obama must be impeached, or Congress will simply see more vetoes and executive orders with his pen and phone.
