Dear 99%er Rube,
Want to meet George Clooney and Barack Obama and a roomful of the 1%ers you hate — at one of Clooney’s gigantic houses that uses more electricity than New Mexico?
He’s hosting really, really rich supporters at his home next month to help build support for this campaign and elect President Obama in November. And he’s saving seats for two grassroots losers supporters like you and their guests. It’s just not a chance most people get — well, ever. Because you’re a 99% loser who cannot afford the $35,800 to get in. And, even though President Obama pays lip service to you and your fellow worthless Occupy 99% moochers, he knows it is the 1% Wall Streeters and Hollywood types who are paying for his reelection campaign. And you ought to see what those 1%ers in China are sending in untraceable credit card transactions!
For a chance to hang out with President Obama at George Clooney’s house, donate $3 or whatever you can (for God’s sake!) to be automatically entered to win. And, by hanging out, we mean you’ll be allowed in the back door for approximately 15 seconds where the 1%ers will stare and ask themselves “who let the riff-raff in?” Then off you go out the door into the waiting Secret Service Suburban to be whisked off as fast as possible to ensure you don’t further embarrass the 1%ers by having to look at your horrid Target-purchased ensemble. After you leave, the 1% guests will be told you were with the catering company and went in the wrong door. You don’t really think the 1%ers who have paid $35k a ticket want to hear you brag about pooping on a police car, do you?
George Clooney is doing his part to help re-elect the President, but he also knows that it’s losers folks like you who will decide this election. That’s why we’re reserving a few spots for grassroots supporters. Sure, you won’t get invited to visit the White House or get that big “green energy” boondoggle loan, but you’ll be able to be in the same city as the President and a guy who makes atrociously bad movies for a little while! The other reason we’re reserving a few spots for worthless moochers like you is that so many of the 1%ers who gave to Obama in 2008 won’t return our calls anymore and we don’t want the fundraiser to only have President Obama and George Clooney in attendance. So we now have to beg you 99%er losers for $3 measly dollars! Hope and change, baby!
If you donate $3 or whatever you can today…hell, we’ll take anything, you’ll be doing your part to support the campaign, and be automatically entered to join them in Los Angeles. If you’re lucky, maybe the Secret Service will drop you off on Sunset Strip and introduce you to some of their favorite hooker friends! All that for a lousy $3!
If you ask me, this is far too good to pass up. But if you also ask me, anyone that would pay $3 to be in the company of Obama and Clooney is a stupid idiot:

Democrats expressing buyers’ remorse on Obama's health law
By Julian Pecquet and Sam Baker - 04/19/12 08:45 PM ET
The Hill:
An increasing number of Democrats are taking potshots at President Obama’s healthcare law ahead of a Supreme Court decision that could overturn it.
The public grievances have come from centrists and liberals and reflect rising anxiety ahead of November’s elections.
“I think we would all have been better off — President Obama politically, Democrats in Congress politically, and the nation would have been better off — if we had dealt first with the financial system and the other related economic issues and then come back to healthcare,” said Rep. Brad Miller (D-N.C.), who is retiring at the end of this Congress.
Miller, who voted for the law, said the administration wasted time and political capital on healthcare reform, resulting in lingering economic problems that will continue to plague Obama’s reelection chances in 2012.
Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.) also criticized his party’s handling of the issue, and said he repeatedly called on his leaders to figure out how they were going to pay for the bill, and then figure out what they could afford.
Cardoza, who like Miller will retire at the end of the Congress, said he thought the bill should have been done “in digestible pieces that the American public could understand and that we could implement.”
The most recent wave of misgivings from Democrats began with Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who told New York magazine that Democrats “paid a terrible price for healthcare.”
Frank said Obama had erred in pushing the legislation after GOP Sen. Scott Brown’s January 2010 victory in Massachusetts, which took away the Senate Democrats’ 60th vote.
Most of the second-guessing has come from retiring members such as Frank and Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.), who this week predicted the law will be Obama’s “biggest downside” heading into the November elections. Such members can afford to be more candid in speaking their minds without offending their leadership, but are also likely to reflect the feelings of other lawmakers in the House and Senate.
To be sure, the comments from Frank and others have stirred up supporters of the law, who say the criticism is misinformed.
Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa.), for example, took issue with Webb’s suggestion that the president should have given Congress more direction on the issue. Webb said the healthcare effort “cost Obama a lot of credibility as a leader.”
“Maybe if you weren’t on one of the committees you wouldn’t have known that, but the administration was super involved with it,” said Schwartz, who served on the Ways and Means Committee when the healthcare law was approved.
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), who helped write the law as chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee in 2010, compared Frank’s comments to Democratic hand-wringing during the year-plus legislative debate. Democrats were divided over what Obama should tackle first, and the White House was repeatedly urged to abandon the effort.
Waxman said Obama made the right decision and brushed off the latest round of second-guessing.
“I don’t know that it makes a lot of difference one way or the other,” Waxman said. “People can say what they think. People were saying it at the time. People said publicly, and to the president personally — they called on him not to go forward with healthcare, even in the White House. And he, to his credit, stood as a stalwart supporter of getting that job done.”
Frank, he added, eventually got the financial reform bill he wanted.
Democrats have already suffered defeats blamed on the healthcare fight.
The party lost 63 seats and control of the House and six seats in the Senate in 2010, a little more than a half-year after Obama signed the healthcare bill into law.
“It did hurt us, there’s no doubt about it. The climate out there was really ugly because of it,” said Rep. Norm Dicks (D-Wash.), who is also retiring at the end of this Congress.
But Dicks argues the party isn’t likely to suffer much more because of the law, regardless of the Supreme Court’s actions.
“It’s just not an issue. It’s all the economy,” Dicks said. “We paid a big price two years ago. But we’ve already paid it.”
Others aren’t so sure.
Former Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.), who lost his primary for Alabama governor after voting against the law, said healthcare remains an albatross for Democrats in 2012, and will be even more of a problem if the Supreme Court overturns the law in June.
“I think the Affordable Care Act is the single least popular piece of major domestic legislation in the last 70 years. It was not popular when it passed; it’s less popular now,” Davis said. “I think the worst thing that could happen to Barack Obama’s reelection campaign would be if he had to spend four months this fall explaining what ObamaCare 2 would look like.”
Democratic strategist James Carville and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) are among the heavy hitters in the party who have argued the Supreme Court would help Obama by rejecting the law.
“There’s a significant school of thought that the administration is — puts them in a better position for the election if it’s turned down,” Reid told reporters after oral arguments.
The White House hasn’t offered similar predictions, but Obama isn’t running away from his signature Affordable Care Act, either.
“An uninsured father with a cancer diagnosis could have been a short, sad story,” Obama tweeted Thursday. “Thanks to the #ACA, it’s not.”

NEGROES WITH GUNS
Liberals have leapt on the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Florida to push for the repeal of "stand your ground" laws and to demand tighter gun control. (MSNBC'S Karen Finney blamed "the same people who stymied gun regulation at every point.")
This would be like demanding more funding for the General Services Administration after seeing how its employees blew taxpayer money on a party weekend in Las Vegas.
We don't know the facts yet, but let's assume the conclusion MSNBC is leaping to is accurate: George Zimmerman stalked a small black child and murdered him in cold blood, just because he was black.
If that were true, every black person in America should get a gun and join the National Rifle Association, America's oldest and most august civil rights organization.
Apparently this has occurred to no one because our excellent public education system ensures that no American under the age of 60 has the slightest notion of this country's history.
Gun control laws were originally promulgated by Democrats to keep guns out of the hands of blacks. This allowed the Democratic policy of slavery to proceed with fewer bumps and, after the Civil War, allowed the Democratic Ku Klux Klan to menace and murder black Americans with little resistance.
(Contrary to what illiterates believe, the KKK was an outgrowth of the Democratic Party, with overlapping membership rolls. The Klan was to the Democrats what the American Civil Liberties Union is today: Not every Democrat is an ACLU'er, but every ACLU'er is a Democrat. Same with the Klan.)
In 1640, the very first gun control law ever enacted on these shores was passed in Virginia. It provided that blacks -- even freemen -- could not own guns.
Chief Justice Roger Taney's infamous opinion in Dred Scott v. Sandford circularly argued that blacks could not be citizens because if they were citizens, they would have the right to own guns: "[I]t would give them the full liberty," he said, "to keep and carry arms wherever they went."
With logic like that, Republicans eventually had to fight a Civil War to get the Democrats to give up slavery.
Alas, they were Democrats, so they cheated.
After the war, Democratic legislatures enacted "Black Codes," denying black Americans the rights of citizenship -- such as the rather crucial one of bearing arms -- while other Democrats (sometimes the same Democrats) founded the Ku Klux Klan.
For more than a hundred years, Republicans have aggressively supported arming blacks, so they could defend themselves against Democrats.
The original draft of the Anti-Klan Act of 1871 -- passed at the urging of Republican president Ulysses S. Grant -- made it a federal felony to "deprive any citizen of the United States of any arms or weapons he may have in his house or possession for the defense of his person, family, or property." This section was deleted from the final bill only because it was deemed both beyond Congress' authority and superfluous, inasmuch as the rights of citizenship included the right to bear arms.
Under authority of the Anti-Klan Act, President Grant deployed the U.S. military to destroy the Klan, and pretty nearly completed the job.
But the Klan had a few resurgences in the early and mid-20th century. Curiously, wherever the Klan became a political force, gun control laws would suddenly appear on the books.
This will give you an idea of how gun control laws worked. Following the firebombing of his house in 1956, Dr. Martin Luther King, who was, among other things, a Christian minister, applied for a gun permit, but the Alabama authorities found him unsuitable. A decade later, he won a Nobel Peace Prize.
How's that "may issue" gun permit policy working for you?
The NRA opposed these discretionary gun permit laws and proceeded to grant NRA charters to blacks who sought to defend themselves from Klan violence -- including the great civil rights hero Robert F. Williams.
A World War II Marine veteran, Williams returned home to Monroe, N.C., to find the Klan riding high -- beating, lynching and murdering blacks at will. No one would join the NAACP for fear of Klan reprisals. Williams became president of the local chapter and increased membership from six to more than 200.
But it was not until he got a charter from the NRA in 1957 and founded the Black Armed Guard that the Klan got their comeuppance in Monroe.
Williams' repeated thwarting of violent Klan attacks is described in his stirring book, "Negroes With Guns." In one crucial battle, the Klan sieged the home of a black physician and his wife, but Williams and his Black Armed Guard stood sentry and repelled the larger, cowardly force. And that was the end of it.
As the Klan found out, it's not so much fun when the rabbit's got the gun.
The NRA's proud history of fighting the Klan has been airbrushed out of the record by those who were complicit with the KKK, Jim Crow and racial terror, to wit: the Democrats.
In the preface to "Negroes With Guns," Williams writes: "I have asserted the right of Negroes to meet the violence of the Ku Klux Klan by armed self-defense -- and have acted on it. It has always been an accepted right of Americans, as the history of our Western states proves, that where the law is unable, or unwilling, to enforce order, the citizens can, and must act in self-defense against lawless violence."
Contrary to MSNBC hosts, I do not believe the shooting in Florida is evidence of a resurgent KKK. But wherever the truth lies in that case, gun control is always a scheme of the powerful to deprive the powerless of the right to self-defense.

Abortion Groups Want United Nations to Push Sex on Kids
New York, NY (CFAM/LifeNews) — Abortion groups have released a “toolkit” for activists to file “sexual rights” complaints against countries in the UN. International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and Sexual Rights Initiative (SRI), a coalition of organizations that advocate for sexual and reproductive rights at the United Nations, released the 2012 Sexual Rights toolkit to encourage advocates to document sexual and reproductive right abuses and submit reports to the UN through the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).
IPPF and SRI have used the UPR process of the UN Human Rights Council to pressure countries to liberalize policies relating to sexual and reproductive rights. The UPR process was established in 2006 to review human rights conditions of all Member States every four years.
The toolkit was developed for non-governmental organizations and civil society activists to prepare reports on what they consider sexual rights violations in their country. Submissions may come from any “credible” civil society actors, including those not accredited by the UN. They are encouraged to seek allied countries that will take up their cause at the UN. Likely candidates are the Scandinavian and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) countries with some of the world’s most liberal legislation on sexual and reproductive “rights.”
Claiming that sexual rights are human rights, IPPF and SRI are attempting to inject perceived sexual rights abuses into the system that deals with human rights. They believe the “transparency” of the UPR process will further advance sexual rights by providing greater government accountability in “front of a global audience.”
The criteria for sexual rights advocates to engage in their countries UPR is “knowledge or experience of laws and policies that are preventing people from making free and informed decisions on all matters related to sexuality, reproduction and gender.” SRI offers monetary compensation in the form of an honorarium to organizations or individuals in targeted under-developed countries submitting reports of sexual abuse.
Within the context of sexual rights IPPF and SRI also promote comprehensive, rights-based sex education for minors. Calling on governments to “create environments in which children can achieve their optimal capacity” they advocate that young people make their own decisions related to “sexual and reproductive life, including how, when, and with whom they have sex.”
Over the past several years SRI has successfully used the UPR process to “name and shame” states to alter their legislation relating to abortion, homosexuality and other sexual and gender identity issues. Last year SRI and IPPF associations in Thailand submitted a report to the UN Human Rights Council recommending the decriminalization of prostitutes to reduce the stigma associated with prostitution and to obtain healthcare services and sex education for prostitutes and their clients. Finland obligingly made the recommendation. Last October the Irish government was pressured to legalize abortion through a recommendation submitted by Norway.
Criticism of the UN treaty body system and calls for reform by Member States have recently emerged due to treaty body committees overstepping their mandate and pressuring States to change policies on perceived rights that don’t exist in international treaties and protocols.

Vermont Lawmakers Vote For Constitutional Amendment To Declare That Corporations Are Not People
In January 2010, the Supreme Court ruled in the case of Citizens United v. Federal Election Committee that it was unconstitutional to limit political campaign spending by corporations, thus helping to usher in the current era of the "super PAC." Today, Vermont's state legislature became the latest to call for an amendment to the Constitution that would overturn the controversial court ruling and declare that "money is not speech and corporations are not persons under the U.S. Constitution."
"This resolution is a reaffirmation of the belief, shared by many Vermont communities, that corporations should not be allowed to engage in unlimited spending to unduly influence elections," said Shap Smith, Speaker of the Vermont House of Representatives, which passed the measure by a 92-40 vote. The state senate had already passed the measure last week by a vote of 26 to 3.
With today's announcement, Vermont joins Hawaii and New Mexico in the growing grassroots movement to upend the 2010 decision. Similar measures are have made it through at least one legislative chamber in California, Alaska and Iowa.
"Most Vermonters don't believe that the founders of our Constitution intended for business corporations, whose sole purpose is to raise money for their owners, to be able to participate, on behalf of those owners, in elections," said state representative David Sharpe.
"Today's passage shows that a movement for a constitutional amendment to take back our democracy has gone from being considered a 'pipe dream' to the mainstream. Vermonters should be proud to have a leading role in driving forward this historic movement," says Robert Weissman, President of Public Citizen.
The Vermont vote comes one day after a number of U.S. lawmakers held a summit on the growing movement for an amendment to overturn Citizens United v. Federal Election Committee.
That original lawsuit centered around a documentary about Hillary Clinton produced by conservative group Citizens United. It had wanted to advertise the film on TV in the month leading up to the 2008 Democratic primary, but that would have been in violation of the McCain-Feingold Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002.
In a controversial 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court said that portions of the BCRA violated First Amendment rights of businesses.
In writing the dissent for the court's decision, Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens wrote:
Corporations help structure and facilitate the activities of human beings, to be sure, and their "personhood" often serves as a useful legal fiction. But they are not themselves members of "We the People" by whom and for whom our Constitution was established.

Gun Rights: The Secret Service wants to talk to an iconic rocker about metaphorical references to a movie while the administration ignores genuine threats of violence.
When Ted Nugent addressed the annual convention of the National Rifle Association, he used words no more strident than when, at a June 2008 Philadelphia fundraiser, candidate Barack Obama told of how he would respond to Republican attacks. "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun," said the former community organizer familiar with the street gangs of Chicago.
Attempting to rally fellow NRA members already agitated by the administration's push for gun control and its disregard for life and law in Operation Fast and Furious, Nugent told fellow Second Amendment devotees that "we are patriots, we are 'Braveheart.'" He also said, "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November."
We need to remind the administration and the Secret Service that "Braveheart" is only a movie and that Nugent is no more likely to ride a horse down Pennsylvania Avenue wielding a medieval battle-ax than Obama was to bring a handgun to the first presidential debate.
Nugent agreed to talk to the Secret Service about his remarks, some of which are crude but still no worse than those being uttered in living rooms across America. "Our president and attorney general, our vice president, Hillary Clinton — they're criminals," Nugent said, an opinion we thought was protected by the First Amendment.
"If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," Nugent said.
He was talking about his fate, not the president's.
Still, the likes of Democratic National Committee head Debbie Wasserman Schultz, eager to associate such remarks with probable Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said: "If the GOP and Romney are willing to accept this kind of rhetoric at this stage of the campaign, I can't imagine what they'll accept in September and October."
Team Obama is eager to distract the American people from the economic stagnation, job loss and sheer incompetence of this administration. Let's talk about Nugent, not Solyndra, the Chevy Volt, the soon-to-be $16 trillion debt ($5 trillion of which is Obama's), Fast and Furious or even Hilary Rosen.
Meanwhile, an administration that let the New Black Panthers avoid criminal charges for wielding a billy club outside a Philadelphia polling place in 2008 and that ignored the bounty placed by the Panthers on the head of George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting is concerned about Nugent.
Did anyone in the liberal universe or administration take note when Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan said at Lemoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn., Saturday that "people tomorrow, maybe in a few days, are gonna kill their leaders who've been selling them out"?
Farrakhan added: "That's why we're in this shape that we're in right now, because we had corrupt people, or people that started off good and got corrupt."
We're not sure if calling people criminals is worse than calling them corrupt, but Ted Nugent didn't say any leaders would die as a result. Farrakhan did in a statement that no one in the so-called mainstream media obsessed over or that anyone in the administration wanted to talk to him about.
Speaking of opposition by the Tea Party and others to Obama administration policies, union leader Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said "let's take those SOBs out," except he didn't abbreviate "SOB." But no one in the liberal universe called that a threat, despite volumes of documented union violence.
They're too busy blaming Sarah Palin for the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords or Rush Limbaugh for the Oklahoma City bombing. The last thing they want to talk about is how they are busily fundamentally transforming President Ronald Reagan's "shining city on a hill" into a Third World socialist slum.

Pelosi: Amend the First Amendment
(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday endorsed a movement announced by other congressional Democrats on Wednesday to ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow Congress to regulate political speech when it is engaged in by corporations as opposed to individuals.
The First Amendment says in part: "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press..."
Television and radio networks, newspapers, publishing houses, movie studios and think tanks, as well as political action committees, are usually organized as, or elements of, corporations.

Christian NASCAR Driver Gets New Sponsor After Being Dropped Following ESPN Ad Ban
Last month, The Blaze reported about NASCAR driver Blake Koch and his campaign aimed at educating fans on the importance of voting in U.S. elections. As we highlighted, Koch alleged that ESPN refused to air his purely non-partisan and non-religious commercial based purely on religious content present on his personal web site.
(Related: ESPN Allegedly Pulls NASCAR Ad Over Religious Undertones on Driver’s Personal Web Site)
Here’s a portion of our original report:
Koch has teamed up with his sponsor, the Rise Up and Register campaign, in an effort to inspire greater political efficacy. But in an interview on “FOX & Friends,” Koch explained that an television ad he appeared in for the campaign never aired, as he alleges that ESPN rejected it based on purported political and religious overtones.
Koch told host Brian Kilmeade that ESPN relayed a message that the ad was pulled because of the religious undertones on his own web site. But the race-car driver reiterated that his ad was only intended to register one million people to vote. The effort, Koch said, wasn’t tied to any party or candidate.
Now, The Christian Post is reporting that another sponsor has stepped up after his original backer, Rise Up and Register, dropped its support for Koch after ESPN issued its decision. The Post has more:
Fortunately for Koch, however, ChristianCinema.com intervened by sponsoring him for a race and by starting a campaign to help him find a more permanent solution to his financial problems on the track.

Photo of Black Student Hitting Pinata Shaped Like White Woman Causes Controversy
The University of Memphis in Tennessee responded after a photo of a group of young black students about to hit a pinata went viral.
The reason for the controversy? The pinata in question was shaped like a white female hula dancer.
Local NBC affiliate WMC-TV reported the photo was taken Thursday during an annual luau-themed campus event to which local schoolchildren were invited.
“It didn’t look right, just because of the social climate we’re in right now,” University of Memphis student Veronica Birmingham, who took the photo, told WMC. “How could somebody be so insensitive and not realize this might cause an issue?”

DOE’s Vehicle Fleet Roughly The Size of Its 15,000+ Staff, Inspector General Calls The $60M it Spends Annually on Travel a ‘Paltry Amount’
During a hearing before a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee Wednesday, Department of Energy Inspector General Greg Friedman told Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) that compared to amount of money spent by DOE contractors, the $60 million the department spends annually on travel is a “paltry sum.”
A “paltry sum”?
Think that’s bad? How about this: according to Christopher Johns, director of the Energy Department’s budget office, the DOE’s vehicle fleet is roughly the size of its staff — which is about 15,000 strong (not counting contractors).

Airport stripper says he was 'nude but not lewd'
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A high-tech worker who stripped naked at Portland International Airport as a protest against airport security screeners said Wednesday he was being "nude but not lewd," and characterized his act of defiance as protected political speech.
John E. Brennan, 49, of Portland was charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure after taking off far more than this belt and shoes during the screening process before a Tuesday evening flight to San Jose, Calif. The incident report from the Port of Portland, which operates the airport, said some passengers covered their eyes and the eyes of their children. Others laughed and took photos. The disorderly conduct charge was dropped at Brennan's arraignment Wednesday.
Brennan said in an interview that he did not arrive at the airport with the intention of getting naked. He said the Transportation Security Administration crosses the line between privacy and security. He decided to protest after he was pulled aside after going through the metal detector and a pat-down, he said.
Port police officers arrested Brennan after he ignored requests to get dressed.
"The most effective way to tell them I'm not carrying a bomb is take off my clothes," Brennan said.
Authorities led Brennan from the screening area with a towel around his waist. Brennan was transferred to a downtown Portland jail and released late Tuesday.
Brennan has criticized TSA previously, saying on Twitter last May that airport security violated his privacy during a pat-down in San Jose. The tweet came after intense criticism in 2010 over the government's use of full-body scanning machines and invasive pat-downs in airport security.
Annie Linstrom, a spokeswoman for the Port of Portland, said two screening lanes closed temporarily during the incident, but there were no flight delays.
This was not the first time Brennan has undressed for political reasons. In Portland, the World Naked Bike Ride attracts thousands each year to protest oil dependence. Brennan said he has ridden in the event three times.
Brennan booked a flight to San Jose for Wednesday night, and had no plans to protest.

Austin Police Officer Fatally Shoots Dog After Going To Wrong Address
AUSTIN, Texas (CBS Houston) – An Austin police officer fatally shoots a dog after showing up at the wrong address for a domestic violence call.
When police officer Thomas Griffin arrived to the address last Saturday, he witnessed Michael Paxton playing Frisbee with his dog, Cisco.
According to reports obtained by CBS Houston, the officer yelled at Paxton to show him his hands. The police car dashboard cam then caught Cisco coming to his owner’s rescue by barking at the officer. The officer responded by yelling, “Get your dog!”
Griffin then opened fire on Cisco, killing the dog.
“The dog ran to his feet, he lowered his aim and shot the dog and raised his aim back up at me and told me to get back,” Paxton told WAFB-TV. “My dog never made a move to attack him other than the challenging him and barking. He ran to his feet.”
The Austin Police Department issued an apology for the incident. Per department policy, an investigation always takes place after an officer fires their weapon.
Police did not answer why the officer used a firearm instead of a stun gun.
“We are not going to second-guess our officer,” Sgt. David Daniels told KSEE-TV. Sgt. Daniels also added that officers have a right to use their weapons if they feel threatened by animals.
Paxton says the dog had never bitten anybody and would not have bitten the officer.
“He shows that behavior, then he sniffs you and wants to be scratched,” Paxton told KSEE-TV.
Paxton and his supporters have set up a Facebook page called “Justice for Cisco” which already has more than 60,000 supporters. He is discouraging any negative comments about the officer.
“I can’t bring my dog back, but I want something positive to come out of this,” he told KSEE.
Officer Griffin is still on active duty.

Ted Nugent fires back at Secret Service probe
Rocker blasting 'corrupt monsters in the federal government'
Rock legend Ted Nugent is firing back at reports the U.S. Secret Service is targeting him for a harshly critical speech of the Obama administration he delivered at the National Rifle Association over the weekend.
The longtime advocate for gun rights compared President Obama and the Democrats to an unwanted animal visiting someone’s home.
“It isn’t the enemy that ruined America,” he said, affirming his support for Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney.
“It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in. If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.”
Nugent had said in his address that “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
“If you can’t go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don’t even know what you’re made of,” he said at the NRA.

District AG to sue former city workers for fraudulent jobless benefits
The District’s attorney general said Wednesday that he will sue former city employees who collected unemployment benefits while working.
Attorney General Irvin B. Nathan said his office will begin filing civil suits “in the next few weeks” to recover the city’s money. District officials have estimated that the city had paid as much as $800,000 in jobless benefits to working city employees since 2009.
Mayor Vincent C. Gray’s administration has fired 61 of 92 employees who were suspended in February pending the outcome of a review of city records to determine whether workers had fraudulently collected benefits in the past three years.

Gang rape video goes viral, shocking South Africa
A video of a 17-year-old girl being gang raped spread by cell phones through South Africa on Wednesday, shocking a nation battling an epidemic of violence against women.
The girl was reported missing in late March and was apparently raped last week in the Johannesburg township of Soweto, police said.
Reporters from the tabloid Daily Sun brought the video to the attention of police, who found the girl on Wednesday and began arresting suspects.
"She was found with another man in his house," Warrant Officer Kay Makhubele told the Sapa news agency.
"Obviously she is traumatised and we are going to take her to the doctor now," he said.
The girl has the mental capacity of a four-year-old, according to the Eyewitness News website.
Watching the video is a crime under South Africa's child pornography law.
The Star newspaper reported online that the video lasts 10 minutes and 33 seconds, showing her being raped by seven different males, as she screams: "You are forcing me, you are forcing me."
The video's spread has forced South Africa to confront its staggering incidence of rape. More than 56,000 cases were reported to police last year.
But the crime is often under-reported, like the case of the 17-year-old. A 2009 study by the government's Medical Research Council revealed that only one in 25 rapes were reported to the police.
The same survey found more than one quarter of South African men admitted to raping a woman or girl.
Minister for women and children Lulu Xingwana condemned the rape and the spread of the video, which local media said was circulating mainly among teenagers in Johannesburg's Soweto township.
"In addition to the painful ordeal of rape the young woman was forced to endure, she is now subjected to a second assault on her dignity," Xingwana said in a statement.
While the video is being spread through cell phones and social media, the same technology has captured national outrage at the crime, with the story at the top of Twitter's South Africa trending list.

Worldly: Albemarle County teacher deletes “God” lyric from “We Are The World”
Within weeks of a national scandal at Stall Brook Elementary School in Bellingham, Massachusetts—where an overzealous government school official removed “God” from Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA”—a local teacher has performed her own secular exorcism on another popular song.
For an upcoming 4th and 5th grade performance at Albemarle County’s Broadus Wood Elementary School in central Virginia, music teacher, Jean Flaherty, has altered a key line from the 1985 Michael Jackson / Lionel Richie composition, “We Are The World.” In an effort to avoid offending non-believers, Flaherty overtly removed lyrical reference to “God.”
The second half of the first verse, as composed by Jackson and Richie, reads:
We can’t go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of God’s great big family
And the truth, you know, Love is all we need
[emphasis added]
Flaherty’s edited version changed the third line:
We are all a part of one great big family
[emphasis added]
Seeking to further shelter her students from Biblical assault, Flaherty made an additional exchange. In a semblant reference to Matthew 4:3, wherein the devil asks Jesus to prove his divinity by turning stone to bread (Jesus did not succumb), the original lyric for verse three, says:
Send them your heart so they’ll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand
[emphasis added]
Unable or unwilling to subtly alter this (somewhat convoluted) Biblical reference, Ms. Flaherty substituted a god-less verse re-written for We Are The World 25 For Haiti:
Send them your heart so they’ll know that someone cares
So their cries for help will not be in vain
We can’t let them suffer; no we cannot turn away
Right now, they need a helping hand
[emphasis added]
While instructor Flaherty reportedly has told concerned, inquiring parents that their kids are allowed to sing “God” in the modified verse if they so choose, the official lyric sheet does not reflect such an option. And, due to social/peer pressures extant in modern-day government schools, few children are likely to deviate from the rehearsed and distributed lyric in order to vocalize “God” over the suggested “one.”
Lost in the shuffle to shutter references to the Creator are the kids who actually believe that they are children of God, and for whom such blatant redaction, is itself, highly offensive.
There are many god-free alternatives that Ms. Flaherty could have chosen to emphasize the commonality of man, but in selecting a song that was too “offensive” to sing publicly without substantive modification, Flaherty has proven herself utterly tone-deaf to the sensibilities and presentiments of America’s vocal religious remnant.
Full revised lyrics as posted on Ms. Flaherty’s Music Class “homework” page:
There comes a time
When we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it’s time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all
We can’t go on
Pretending day by day
That someone, somehow will soon make a change
We are all a part of
one great big family
And the truth, you know love is all we need
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
Send them your heart
So they’ll know that someone cares
So their cries for help
Will not be in vain
We can’t let them suffer
No we cannot turn away
Right now, they need a helping hand
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
When you’re down and out
There seems no hope at all
But if you just believe
There’s no way we can fall
Well, let us realize
That a change can only come
When we, stand together as one
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
(repeat)
We all need somebody that we can lean on
When you wake up look around and see that your dreams gone
When the earth quakes we’ll help you make it through the storm
When the floor breaks a magic carpet to stand on
We are the World united by love so strong
When the radio isn’t on you can hear the songs
A guided light on the dark road you’re walking on
A sign post to find the dreams you thought was gone
Someone to help you move the obstacles you stumbled on
Someone to help you rebuild after the rubble’s gone
We are the World connected by a common bond
Love- the whole planet sing it along
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we make a better day
Just you and me

Right now, they need a helping hand
[emphasis added]
While instructor Flaherty reportedly has told concerned, inquiring parents that their kids are allowed to sing “God” in the modified verse if they so choose, the official lyric sheet does not reflect such an option. And, due to social/peer pressures extant in modern-day government schools, few children are likely to deviate from the rehearsed and distributed lyric in order to vocalize “God” over the suggested “one.”
Lost in the shuffle to shutter references to the Creator are the kids who actually believe that they are children of God, and for whom such blatant redaction, is itself, highly offensive.
There are many god-free alternatives that Ms. Flaherty could have chosen to emphasize the commonality of man, but in selecting a song that was too “offensive” to sing publicly without substantive modification, Flaherty has proven herself utterly tone-deaf to the sensibilities and presentiments of America’s vocal religious remnant.
Full revised lyrics as posted on Ms. Flaherty’s Music Class “homework” page:
There comes a time
When we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it’s time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all
We can’t go on
Pretending day by day
That someone, somehow will soon make a change
We are all a part of
one great big family
And the truth, you know love is all we need
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
Send them your heart
So they’ll know that someone cares
So their cries for help
Will not be in vain
We can’t let them suffer
No we cannot turn away
Right now, they need a helping hand
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
When you’re down and out
There seems no hope at all
But if you just believe
There’s no way we can fall
Well, let us realize
That a change can only come
When we, stand together as one
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day
Just you and me
(repeat)
We all need somebody that we can lean on
When you wake up look around and see that your dreams gone
When the earth quakes we’ll help you make it through the storm
When the floor breaks a magic carpet to stand on
We are the World united by love so strong
When the radio isn’t on you can hear the songs
A guided light on the dark road you’re walking on
A sign post to find the dreams you thought was gone
Someone to help you move the obstacles you stumbled on
Someone to help you rebuild after the rubble’s gone
We are the World connected by a common bond
Love- the whole planet sing it along
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we’re making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we make a better day
Just you and me

SCOTUS asked to back FCC rules
The Obama administration on Wednesday urged the Supreme Court to review the FCC’s decision to fine CBS for Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Super Bowl.
In its petition to the court, Solicitor General Donald Verrilli Jr. contends that the commission’s $550,000 fine for the incident was warranted because the indecency rules cover “fleeting nudity.”

Revealed: The official fears US and Britain shared about over President Obama's 'anti-American' and 'anti-white' father
Father and son: The Barack Obamas together, when the US President was just 10 years old
In his three years as U.S. president, Barack Obama has been dogged by claims he is not patriotic enough.
Last year he even had to publish his birth certificate to silence doubters who suggested he was not born an American.
Now it emerges that similar fears were expressed about his father, who was categorised with others as ‘anti-American and anti-white’ when he moved to the United States in 1959.

Mr Obama Snr had grown up in Kenya under British rule and aroused the fears of both colonial officers and American officials when he won a chance to study in Hawaii. The officials felt Kenyan students were ‘academically inferior’ with a ‘bad reputation’ for turning anti-American.
DOG WARS: OBAMA VS MITT
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney probably believed that he held the ace cards when it came to his controversial relationship with man's best friend.
It was revealed that in 1983 his family dog Seamus was put in his kennel and strapped to the roof of his car when they went on holiday.
Ann Romney insisted the family pet 'loved' these long journeys. Last night her husband was forced to say, given the scrutiny directed at the dog's treatment, he would not repeat it.
Seamus has been used by Mr Romney's critics to paint him as uncaring.
But it appears that Barack Obama trumps his rival when it comes to hounds - or insects or reptiles for that matter.
In his best-seller 'Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance' Obama talks about chomping on dog in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.
'With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy),' he wrote.
A memo from a British diplomat in Washington to Whitehall – released today by the National Archives in West London – sets out their concerns about the young Kenyans.
Dated September 1, 1959, it says: ‘I have discussed with the State Department. They are as disturbed about these developments as we are. They point out that Kenya students have a bad reputation over here for falling into the wrong hands and for becoming both anti-American and anti-white.’
In one of the Foreign Office files, the future president’s father appears on a list of Kenyan students as ‘OBAMA, Barack H’ – they shared the same name.
At the age of 23, he enrolled at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu to study economics with classmates including Ann Dunham, a 17-year-old white American from Kansas. The couple had a short marriage that led to the birth in 1961 of the future president, Barack Obama II.
Mr Obama Snr was among 100 or so Kenyan students brought to America by the African American Students Foundation.
U.S. and British officials were deeply suspicious of this outfit, observing that the AASF – though backed by singer Harry Belafonte and actor Sidney Poitier – had links to a Kenyan nationalist leader.
‘The motives behind this enterprise, therefore, seem more political than educational,’ warned a letter from the British Embassy in Washington.
It added: ‘The arrival here of these students, many of them of indifferent academic calibre and ill-prepared for the venture, is likely to give rise to difficult problems.’
Mr Obama Snr, who died in 1982, is not singled out for concern in any of the documents.
After leaving Hawaii he took a PhD in economics at Harvard and later became a senior economist with the Kenyan government.
The President was forced to release a copy of his birth certificate to counter claims he wasn't born in the U.S.

The $5 Trillion Man: Debt Has Increased Under Obama by $5,027,761,476,484.56
(CNSNews.com)- In the 39 months since Barack Obama took the oath of office as president of the United States, the federal government’s debt has increased by $5,027,761,476,484.56.
Although he has served less than a term, Obama is now the first American president to see the federal government's debt increase by more than $5 trillion during his time in office.
During the full eight years that George W. Bush served as president, the federal government's debt increased by $4,899,100,310,608.44. (Rising from $5,727,776,738,304.64 to $10,626,877,048,913.08.)
The $5,027,761,476,484.56 that the debt has increased during Obama's presidency equals $16,043.39 for every one of the 313,385,295 people the Census Bureau now estimates live in the United States.
At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, the day Obama was inaugurated, the federal government’s debt was $10,626,877,048,913.08, according to the U.S. Treasury. By the close of business on April 16, 2012—as many Americans were working to finalize their 2011 tax returns to meet an April 17 filing deadline—the debt had reached $15,654,638,525,397.64.
The $5,027,761,476,484.56 in additional debt that the U.S. government has taken on during the 39 months that Obama has been president is more debt than the federal government accumulated in the first 219 years of the Republic.
The total federal debt did not exceed $5,027,761,476,484.56 until March 14, 1996, when President Bill Clinton was in the last year of his first term in office. On that day, the national debt rose from $5,025,887,531,178.79 to 5,035,165,720,616.33.

Bishop: Obama following path of Hitler and Stalin
In a homily delivered Saturday, Bishop Daniel R. Jenky of the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois challenged President Obama's HHS mandate, suggesting that the president was following the same path as Hitler and Stalin.
"Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services, and health care," Jenky said. "In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama – with his radical, pro abortion and extreme secularist agenda, now seems intent on following a similar path." Jenky added.
Jenky reminded the men of the Catholic Church's history of surviving threats from Jihadi, Nazism and Communism and called them to stand up for their faith.
Denouncing the "entrenched corruption and sheer incompetence" of the Illinois state government, Jenky also criticized Catholic politicians who "pretend to be Catholic."
"May God have mercy on the souls of those politicians who pretend to be Catholic in church, but in their public lives, rather like Judas Iscariot, betray Jesus Christ by how they vote and how they willingly cooperate with intrinsic evil," he said.
Bishop Jenky was appointed Bishop of Peoria by Pope John Paul II in 2002.

Obama Stimulus Dollars Funded Soros Empire
Newly recently released tax documents reveal how billionaire “philanthropist” George Soros expanded his U.S.-based empire by using funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, also known as the Obama stimulus. Soros and Obama worked hand-in-glove through the stimulus, which has been called the largest single partisan wealth transfer in American history.
In 2010, tax records show that Soros, a convicted inside trader with extensive knowledge of the American financial system and government policies under Obama, deployed grantees from his Open Society Foundations1 to lobby for and acquire federal contracts for job training, green energy, and community redevelopment programs. By gaining control over those resources, Soros advanced his agenda for “green economics,” open borders, and increased government handouts. In short, he grew his empire, which includes much of the “progressive” movement in the U.S., as the federal government and Obama’s political constituencies grew in power and influence. Obama as a Boy Ate Dog Meat
Much has been made about Mitt Romney, in 1983, putting his family dog Seamus in a kennel on top of his roof and driving from Boston to Canada, with said canine Seamus making his displeasure known in a rather scatological way.
Democrats have signaled they have every intention of making sure the American people — especially dog-lovers — know the tale. In January, senior Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod tweeted a photo of the president and Bo in a car, with the snide observation: “@davidaxelrod: How loving owners transport their dogs.”
The Romney campaign signaled tonight that they are not about to cede any ground when it comes to a candidate’s odd past with man’s best friend.
And the Obama campaign shot back, with a spokesman suggesting the Romney team was attacking a child, since the Obama act in question took place when he was a kid.
The Daily Caller noted that in President Obama’s best-selling memoir, “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance,” the president recalls being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

Court says Arizona can demand voter identification
PHOENIX (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday ruled Arizona may require voters to show identification at the polls, a ruling likely to add fuel to the fiery debate about voting rights in a presidential election year.
But the court also ruled the state cannot demand that they show proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, a decision the state's attorney general said he would appeal.
That could set the stage for yet another U.S. Supreme Court showdown over a contentious Arizona law touching on citizenship issues. Next week, the high court will hear arguments over the state's effort to crack down on illegal immigration.

Did Buffett Help Obama Kill Keystone Pipeline to Reap Financial Gain?
This is a special report done in conjunction with GBTV. The issue was explored in detail on The Glenn Beck Program Tuesday, April 17.
As the nation’s gas prices skyrocket, critics argue that President Obama’s recent rejection of the $7 billion, “shovel-ready” Keystone XL oil pipeline, followed by his continued vow to “double down” on green energy, is a clear sign the administration plans to do little of substance in terms of American oil exploration. The move has also stirred controversy about the president’s real intentions concerning job creation and reducing pain at the pump for everyday Americans. But could there be a more sinister reason behind denying the pipeline’s requisite permits — namely, to benefit billionaire Obama-supporter Warren Buffett?
The evidence does seem to be mounting. MORE FROM THE BLAZE

Secret Service Probing Ted Nugent’s Obama Comments After DNC Rep. Goes on 30-Tweet Rampage
First it was DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz who was awfully upset with Tea Partying rock star Ted Nugent for comments he made at the NRA’s national convention in St. Louis on Saturday.
Now it’s DNC Press Secretary Melanie Roussell’s turn to be shocked that Ted Nugent, nicknamed “The Motor City Madman,” made some controversial remarks.
“Our government is wiping it’s a– with the Constitution,” Nugent said before a gathering of NRA attendees this past weekend.
“We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everyone here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense?” Nugent asked.

Michelle Obama: 'This President Has Brought Us Out of the Dark and Into the Light'
Michelle Obama made a remarkable claim when talking up her husband, President Barack Obama, at a campaign event earlier today in Nashville, Tennessee.
"I am so in," Michelle Obama said toward the end of her remarks. "I am going to be working so hard. We have an amazing story to tell. This president has brought us out of the dark and into the light."
The crowd of nearly 450 folks applauded as the first lady likened her husband to a Jesus-like figure.
In the book of Matthew, we read, "the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up." (Matthew 4:16) The phrase is used to describe the words Jesus preached.
In Micah, light, however, is a reference to God's words. "Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me," it says in Micah 7:8.
Either way, in religious terms, light is used to denote the true path, presented either by God or a savior. Or by Barack Obama. More @ The Weekly Standard

Farrakhan Warns Young Leaders They Risk Being Killed if They Sell Out
Over the past week, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan told audiences that Jesus was a black Muslim. Additionally, he said that the phenomenon of Caucasians and African Americans breeding will mean the end of the black race. These, of course, are only two examples of his regularly-touted oddball ideological constructs. On Saturday evening, while addressing students and attendees at LeMoyne-Owens College in Memphis, Tennessee, Farrakhan added to his list of bizarre commentary when he told young leaders that they risk being killed if they sell out.

Obama to pitch $52 million plan to regulate oil markets
WASHINGTON – President Obama on Tuesday urged Congress to help strengthen federal supervision of international oil markets, amid pressure from U.S. voters to take action on rising gasoline prices.
The president wants Congress to increase penalties for market manipulation and empower regulators to increase the amount of money energy traders are required to put behind their transactions.
"Congress should do all of this right away," the president said Tuesday during a White House speech in the Rose Garden.
Obama said the plan would put "more cops on the street" to catch speculators who attempt to manipulate markets for their own profit. He also chastised Congress for recently voting against ending tax breaks to U.S. oil companies and said passing his proposal would help members redeem themselves.

House blocks EPA from banning lead in ammunition
The House on Tuesday passed legislation giving hunters and fishing enthusiasts access to certain public lands to pursue their sport and also blocked the Environmental Protection Agency from banning lead for use in ammunition and fishing tackle.
The Sportsmen’s Heritage Act passed on a mostly party line vote of 274 yeas and 146 nays.
Republicans argued that the ability of sportsmen and women to fish and shoot on public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Forest Service is being threatened by the Obama administration and environmentalists through bureaucratic regulations.
Republicans also said that banning lead bullets and tackle would cause economic harm to the recreation industry and kill jobs.
“It would be a massive power grab by the EPA without a clear lack of legal authority, but has that ever stopped the EPA under this administration? Sadly, it hasn’t,” said Rep. Doc Hastings (R–Wash.) chairman of the House Resources Committee.

Obama's plan to control the oceans
Zoning the ocean
President Barack Obama has an ambitious plan for Washington bureaucrats to take command of the oceans—and with it control over much of the nation’s energy, fisheries, even recreation in a move described by lawmakers as the ultimate power grab to zone the seas.
The massive undertaking also includes control over key inland waterways and rivers that reach hundreds of miles upstream, and began with little fanfare when Obama signed an executive order in 2010 to protect the aquatic environment.

Ambush Election Vote: Senators Either Stand With Small Business Owners Or Big Labor Bosses
After a few weeks of recess, Members of Congress will return this week to address a number of issues, including the budget, transportation bill and Buffet Rule. One of the issues that will likely come to a vote in the U.S. Senate in the coming weeks is a joint resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act, which seeks to reverse a recent regulation promulgated by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The change amends workplace election procedures limiting the ability of employers, especially smaller ones, from obtaining the fair representation and legal counsel they need to communicate with employees about the consequences of unionization. The new rule significantly minimizes the amount of time for union elections in private workplaces and deprives workers of their right to make an informed choice free from pressure or intimidation.

Yes, Calming The Storm of Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman Related Racial Violence.
(ThyBlackMan.com) As a black conservative Tea Party patriot, I have been struggling with what I should do, if anything, in response to the rash of incidents of racial violence resulting from the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case. Folks, a great evil is running the show in our country right now
Prolific race-hustler Al Sharpton is heralded as a hero. http://bit.ly/IIUZR5 Attorney General Eric Holder ignores the New Black Panther “dead or alive” bounty on George Zimmerman. http://bit.ly/HM1Aiq Three major TV networks are caught manipulating facts of the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case to fuel racial hatred and anger. http://bit.ly/HchWtZ Minister Farrakhan tweeted referring to the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case, “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon and very soon, the law of retaliation may very well be applied.”http://yhoo.it/GPnyxc
Even a nut case white supremacist group have thrown their hat, or skinned heads, into the ring, threatening violence. http://bit.ly/IsEp8G
Rather than showing pictures of 6’3” seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin, nearly every TV news broadcast features pictures of Trayvon as an adorable little boy in his little league football uniform. This is done by design to further the media’s storyline: innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man. George Zimmerman is not white. He is Hispanic. To further the mainstream media storyline, the New York Times has deemed George Zimmerman, a “white” Hispanic. http://wapo.st/HilSiA
I do not know what transpired between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. I do know that the Race Industry has gone to extraordinary, dishonest lengths to promote its innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man storyline.
Even president Obama despicably and masterfully fueled the flames of racial hatred by saying, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin”. http://bit.ly/HTrpcO As a seasoned professional politician, president Obama surely knew his comment would up the ante of black rage.
So yes, as Christian and as patriot, I wondered, what should I do to help calm the storm of Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman related racial violence? Should I rally black conservatives to denounce the violence and call for unity at a press conference? No, the liberal biased mainstream media would not cover such a press conference. Non-victim-minded blacks do not fit the media-desired image of America. Blacks who love their country without resentment toward fellow Americans who are white are as repulsive to the mainstream media as showing Dracula the cross.
Well, what about a racial peace rally – blacks and whites standing together, singing songs and talking about unity. No, Obama’s SEIU thugs and/or the New Black Panthers could exploit the event by showing up to assault patriots.
Remember Kenneth Gladney, the black conservative who was beaten and sent to the emergency room by SEIU thugs at a town hall meeting during the health care debates? http://bit.ly/OCx7g Many believe Gladney’s beating was in response to Obama White House’s clarion call to “push back twice as hard” and get in the faces of those opposing Obamacare.
The mainstream media will never tell the truth about black-on-white crime. When reporting incidents of black-on-white violence, the media walks a tightrope, bending over backwards to avoid mentioning race. And yet I heard a report on the radio in which the reporter, without hesitation, up front and in your face said five “black” men were shot by a “white” male in a white pickup truck. This type of story fits the racist image that the media desires to portray of white America. According to the media, blacks are ALWAYS the victims and never the aggressors. http://bit.ly/IBgnXa
So how do we right-thinking, decent Americans counter all the racial hate, evil and violence, fueled by media and the Obama administration, that’s contaminating our great country?
Mary is away, up north visiting family. Thus, I found myself in the grocery store checkout line with my shopping cart one-third full. An elderly white gentleman in line behind me had two items. “Excuse me sir – you can go in front of me.” He gleefully replied, “Thank you very much.” After the cashier had bagged his items and given the elderly white gentleman his change, he thanked me again.
I thought, that’s it! For now, until God leads me otherwise, I can simply continue doing what I, along with millions of my fellow Americans, do every day: seize every opportunity to spread racial harmony and kindness. I know that sounds corny, but I know it is the right thing to do.
Despite what the Race Industry would have you believe, a majority of Americans are not at each other throats, divided along racial lines. However, this is unquestionably the agenda of the Race Industry. Incidents of race related violence are on the rise since the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman incident. http://bit.ly/HJ1djA
Most Americans are over “the race thing.” Americans live, work and play together just fine. Interracial marriage is far from being the big deal it was in the past. Unfortunately, it is the mission of the mainstream media, the Obama administration and race profiteers to keep the Race Industry alive and profitable. These people (race instigators and exploiters) are evil.
Therefore, it is up to us – proud responsible Americans – to continue sowing seeds of racial harmony, brotherhood and peace.

EPIC Fox News Screw-Up: Bob Beckel Screams "F**k" Live On Hannity
Well this one, courtesy of Mediate's Frances Martel, is for the ages.
Bob Beckel was obviously carrying on with an off-air argument and missed any cue about going back live. So he finished yelling at Neil Boortz, "You don't know what the f**k you're talking about."
Sean Hannity tries to get him to apologize, and Beckel absolutely refuses. Then Hannity tries to inform him that they were on air. Beckel refuses to acknowledge that. Then when he finally realizes he just dropped a two-ton F-bomb on live television he apologizes and blames Hannity for not running his show very well.

Wisconsin's Property Taxes Drop for First Time in 12 Years
Milwaukee, Wisc.
According to Wisconsin's Department of Revenue, property taxes on homes in the state of Wisconsin have decreased for the first time in more than a decade.
Governor Scott Walker's pledge to balance the budget without raising taxes was a key plank of his 2010 campaign, and his fulfillment of that pledge will be a major campaign theme leading up to the June 5 recall election. “Our reforms have reversed a decade of property tax increases from previous administrations,” Walker said in a statement on Monday. “For the first time in over ten years, the average property taxpayer will have more money in his or her pocket than the year before.” Walker's office noted that property taxes had risen by 43 percent since 1998, and "the average homeowner would have paid an additional $700 over the biennium" without the 2011 budget reforms.

Buffet" Rule - tax the 49%
Approximately 49% of people in United States pay no income tax. Many of them receive free money when filing tax returns due to the bogus earned income tax credit and other scams built into the tax code which turn it into welfare for the bottom half of earners. Coincidentally, the bottom half of earners tend to vote Democrat more often than not.
Instead of divisive meaningless buffett rule proposals from Obama, which are clearly meant to do nothing more than divide people, how about a buffet proposal? Buffet as in people who've lineup to eat as much as they possibly can without concern of the consequences. Since the bottom 49% treat the United States treasury like and all you can steal buffet anyways, why not a proposal to stop the madness? For example, why not a minimum income tax? Why not a guarantee that you pay a certain minimum, and receive nothing unless you pay that minimum.
