It's good to know that only a small minority of Kashmiri muslims support Osama bin Laden.
Fresh in from the Land of Islamic Rage Boy, we get word that Syed Geelani, respected imam and head of IRB's All-Parties Hurriyat Conference, has offered official prayers of mourning over the death of respected Islamic leader Osama bin Laden.
Who would've expected anything different from the Religion of Peace (And Celebrating Murderers)?
Kashmiri Muslims shout anti-US and pro-freedom slogans after offering funeral prayers in absentia for Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden in Srinagar on May 6, 2011. Islamist political parties called for mass protests to condemn the US operation in Pakistan which killed bin Laden on May 1. Friday is a traditional day of protest in the Muslim world, where demonstrations frequently take place after the main weekly prayers. Emphasis mine, just because I've been telling you that for years now. Nice that our "informers" in the press finally pick up on the Mysterious Mosque-Protest Connection. I'll delightfully point out that we still don't see Methodists streaming out of church with banners in hand and effigies alight. Pretty strange, huh?

PS: Notice also that there's another traditional post-Friday-prayers event that's often celebrated in Kashmir. Can you guess what it is?
PPS: There's still no sign of Islamic Rage Boy on the wires today. Has he dropped out of public life? Is he in jail? Or worse, has he finally made the inevitable journey to Jannah?
Inquiring minds want to know -- Where are our intrepid reporters when it comes to reporting on the news that people actually care about??
Update: AP has filed their first photos. Still no Islamic Rage Boy!
