Outrage should be fast and furious

Where is the outrage from the right or the left about 'Operation Fast and Furious"? The ATF ran a misguided operation to allow illegal gun runners to purchase assault rifles and transfer them to Mexico's drug cartels and lost track of them! Now these guns are associated with a killing of a border patrol agent, and a number of crimes across the Southwest.

The president has stated he knows nothing, Attorney General Eric Holder stated he was not aware of the operation. Someone is lying and criminally responsible.

Remember, there was a acting head of the ATF, so this administration wants me to believe either:

1. A non-elected, acting head of a government agency has the authority to implement an operation across international borders all on his/her own.

2. Eric Holder is not being truthful.

From Hillary Clinton and her State Department, not a peep, no statements, nothing.

The acting head Kenneth Melson testified before Rep. Darrell Issa's oversight committee that the Department of Justice had full knowledge.

Where is the reporting on this scandal? Nonexistent on the alphabet channels' so-called news reporting.

I don't know about you and what you believe, but I believe a government agency needs to ask permission from our elected politicians, whether the oversight committee in the House or the Senate. They do not have my permission to act independently.

Recently the president was asked by a left-wing blogger what he was doing about gun control and was overheard saying, 'We are working under the radar." Makes me wonder what he meant. What happen to transparency?

Except for Rep. Issa, nobody is screaming about this. Eric Holder is trying to resist releasing all the documents from DOJ. And what happened to the supervisors of the botched operation? Wonder upon wonder, they we're all given promotions to newly created managerial positions at the ATF headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Eric Holder needs to step down, and so does Hillary Clinton if they were unaware. That is a dereliction of duty and makes them incompetent to serve the public interests.

I can only wonder what the reaction from the media would have been if this was former President Bush or Sarah Palin. The hysteria would be through the roof, calling for them to step down and throw them in jail. You know it's true.
