Republican congressional candidate Karen Harrington gave the keynote address to the attendees of the annual Hebron Fund Gala Dinner in Queens, New York this past weekend, and she took the opportunity to criticize President Barack Obama and DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for their ‘less than stellar’ relationship with the state of Israel.
Harrington remarked that she did not support the longstanding United States’ position that supports a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
“There is already a two-state solution in place, and it is called Israel and Jordan.”-Karen Harrington
Harrington went onto slam President Obama by saying that he is “not a true friend of Israel,’ while directly tying Wasserman Schultz directly to President. Harrington also accused President Obama of destroying the U.S. credibility around the world by “siding” with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian regime.
Harrington’s participation in the event and enthusiastic reception further solidified her support with Jewish groups and her frontrunner status, this event coming right on the heels of earning Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s support late last week.
