A man is facing criminal charges after being accused of molesting a child in Mercedes.
Mercedes police arrested 24-year-old Jose Jesus Robles on an indecency of a child charge over the weekend.
Details about the arrest were not immediately available, but Mercedes police booked him into the Hidalgo County Jail early Sunday morning.
Robles does not appear to have a previous criminal record.
