La Homa man accused of sexually abusing girl

A La Homa man is out on bond after being accused of sexually abusing a girl when she was 11 years old.
Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested 36-year-old Eugenio Garcia early Friday afternoon.
Deputies charged Garcia with one count of indecency with a child by contact.
Court records obtained by Action 4 News show that Garcia is accused of molesting the girl.
The girl, who is now 14 years old, came forward with the allegations back in February.
An investigation ended with Hidalgo County Justice of the Peace Melo Ochoa issuing an arrest warrant for Garcia in May.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse but court records revealed that Garcia had access to the girl through her family.
Garcia was released from custody at the Hidalgo County Jail after posting a $50,000 dollar bond.
