Disgraced Ex-CEO of NPR Vivian Schiller Heads for NBC News

Remember Vivian Schiller, socialist Commissar of the coercively financed liberal propaganda outlet NPR, who was forced to resign after her appalling behavior in the Juan Williams scandal (though of course she was replaced by another leftist ideologue)? Progressives will be pleased to hear she has already found a new position, despite the difficulty those of us who are not members of the liberal elite have finding jobs in Obama's economy.

From an NBC news release:
"Bringing Vivian on board enhances this network's mission of growth and the evolution of its digital businesses and strategy. With Vivian's help, NBC News will be recognized as the premier broadcast news organization in America, as well as the most innovative, comprehensive and trusted news operation."

NBC News + Vivian Schiller = a trusted news operation? Someone must have learned mathematics in our government schools.

Once again we see that the free market provides people with whatever they want, even if they are foolish enough to want left-wing propaganda. Consequently, there is no justification whatsoever for forcing taxpayers to finance NPR or the comparably execrable PBS.

We also see that scraping off the hard left's answer to Howard Beale did not signify a move toward moderation on the part of NBC. Execs probably just couldn't stand the way Keith Olbermann makes the skin crawl.
