Two heartless Florida thugs robbed a defenseless man who was born without arms.
Cops nabbed both Oliver Bozeman and Courtney Edge for taking $300 from Havalah Pitts, who “had no way to defend himself,” Judge John Hurley said during Bozeman’s initial court appearance Wednesday.
The alleged robbery happened in October in Pompano Beach, but cops only tracked down the suspects earlier this week.
"These two men picked a defenseless victim, a man with no arms, and stole the money from his pockets," sheriff's spokeswoman Dani Moschella told the Sun-Sentinel. "It was a vile act, a new low for criminals."
Each man is charged with robbery and abuse to an elderly or disabled adult without great harm.
Judge Hurley ordered Edge held in lieu of $55,000 bond. Bozeman was held without bond because he was already out on bond in a different case.
Hurley said Bozeman has an extensive criminal record including past strong arm robberies.
