Father holds off suspect who violated daughter during break-in
A suspected burglar inappropriately touches a 13-year-old after she discovers him inside her family's home.
Police reports reveal, Noriel Pineda crawled inside a home located on the 800 block of Rio Grande Street in San Benito after removing a window air conditioning unit.
A 13-year-old girl caught the man inside her home just after 3:16 a.m. Saturday morning, and police said 19-year-old Pineda grabbed the teen, covered her mouth, and began touching.
The teen managed to get away and alerted her father.
According to reports, the father managed to restrain Pineda and Pineda began biting him.
The 29-year-old held the suspect down until police arrived.
Pineda was charged with burglary of habitation, indecency with a child, and assault.
His bond was set at $200,000.
