9 cases of swine flu reported in Hidalgo County
Hildalgo County on the map!!
A total of nine cases of the H1N1 virus, also known as the swine flu, have been reported in Hidalgo County.
The virus has been detected in six adults and three children in Hidalgo County, according to Eddie Olivares with Hidalgo County's Health Department.
Out of those nine people, four of them remain hospitalized after pre-existing conditions were affected by the swine flu virus.
According to the Associated Press, at least five recent deaths in Texas have been blamed on the swine flu.
