Oxymoron: Body found in Port Isabel may be missing illegal immigrant

December 27, 2013

NEWSFLASH: Shouldn't ALL illegal immigrants be "missing"? The only way they aren't, should be if they're in custody...

The Cameron County Sheriff’s Department are investigating an incident after the body of a man was found earlier this week.
Authorities believe the body found in the waters of Port Isabel could be one of the illegal immigrants who died after attempting to swim in the area earlier this month.
The man’s body was found late Christmas Eve.
The Cameron County Sheriff’s Department told Action 4 that the body of a man may be one of the five illegal immigrants that were crossing the border.
Authorities said the man was between the ages of 19-20 years.
A bracelet with the name “Onorio” was also found on the man.
Family from Matamoros is expected to identify the body early next week.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted.
Authorities are still searching for the fifth person.
Five immigrants attempted to swim across the waters, leaving the U.S. Coast Guard and Homeland Security to locate only one of the immigrants.
Port Isabel Police Chief Gualberto Gonzalez reported that two of the men were found dead.
