Manhunt underway after kidnapping in Pharr

Authorities are investigating a kidnapping where five men forced the victim into a vehicle.
The kidnapping happened on the 100 block of West Cardinal Avenue just after 7 p.m. Monday.
Pharr police told Action 4 that five men forced Jose Rodriguez Jr. into a red Dodge Durango and fled the scene.
The 38-year-old victim was wearing a gray/blue Exchange jacket and Armani Exchange blue jeans.
The Pharr Police Department told Action 4 that the male suspects were wearing black shirts and blue jeans.
Pharr police said that leads are currently being developed.
Details of the direction the vehicle fled or on the suspects are not available at this time.
