NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is back on the road, holding another series of community forums.
Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman are launching their latest series of face-to-face meetings with residents on Wednesday in Norwalk. It is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall. People who want to ask a question should arrive early and add their names to a sign-up sheet.
The Democratic governor has scheduled such public meetings each year since he took office in 2011. He called the tradition “long overdue.”
Last year, the governor fielded questions on topics such as gun control and state budget cuts. Another series focused on education reform.
Dates and locations for additional forums will be announced in the coming weeks. Events are planned throughout of the state.
