Often when we think of poverty, usually pictures of Detroit and Philadelphia come to mind. But make no mistake about it, poverty is everywhere. It's just that some places had a head start over others.
Statistically, at the turn of the 20th century 95% of working class Americans worked for a small business, while the other 5% worked for big ones.
At the turn of the 21st century, the numbers did an exact flip flop.
The town in this article is an excellent example of the effects of government agenda's effects (multiculturalism, entitlements and regulations) on small town America.
While the well-meaning reporters who created this 6 part series, attempt to come up with solutions, it's easy to see most of them are likely liberals by their finger pointing and criticisms blinding their diagnosis.
How do I know just how far off base they are? Because I witnessed the demise of this town first-handedly, growing up.
But anyway, here is what should be considered by many as the future of small town USA.
