UNREAL: Feds Threaten to ARREST Doctors for Warnings About Epidemic at Border [DETAILS]

7/3/2014

Everybody is talking about the flood of illegal immigrants, many of them unaccompanied children, that are swarming across our southern border, overwhelming the Border Patrol and Immigration officials.
Some people are speculating that this humanitarian crisis was actually “orchestrated” to some extent by the Obama administration.  For sure, his immigration enforcement policy, or lack thereof, has encouraged thousands of illegals to head to America for the promise of amnesty.
Others are speculating that the administration is now involved in the “smuggling business“, which isn’t too far off, considering busloads of illegal immigrant children are being transported around the country.  The busloads are being met with angry protestorsnow that people are beginning to figure out what is going on.
Everybody is talking about this crisis, at least everybody that is allowed to talk.  Word has gotten out that medical workers at a makeshift refugee camp for the illegal children were warned not to talk about what was happening, or risk facing arrest. (H/T Fox News)
A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.
“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me. “We were under orders not to say anything.”
The sources said workers were guarded by a security force from the Baptist Family & Children’s Services, which the Department of Health and Human Services hired to run the Lackland Camp.
The security force refer to themselves as “Brown Shirts”, because they wear tan uniforms, but seems ironically fitting considering the fascist nature of threatening doctors and nurses to stay silent or risk arrest.
“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said. “Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”
She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired.
“Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.”
“It was not a good atmosphere in terms of health,” she said. “I would be talking to children and lice would just be climbing down their hair.”
The counselor said that in addition to the lice, many children are infected with measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep.
A nurse said the scene at the camp is horrific, and both the nurse and counselor said that superiors at the camp are trying to cover up the extent of the illnesses.
“We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all of the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country,” she said. “We were very concerned at one point about strep going around the base.”
“When they found out the kids had scabies, the charge nurse was adamant – ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies,’” the nurse recounted. “But everybody knew they had scabies. Some of the workers were very concerned about touching things and picking things up. They asked if they should be concerned, but they were told don’t worry about it.”
The nurse said the lice issue was epidemic – but everything was kept “hush-hush.”
“You could see the bugs crawling through their hair,” she said. “After we would rinse out their hair, the sink would be loaded with black bugs.”
Perhaps the most alarming thing is that the infected children were transported to Lackland AFB on charter buses and airplanes, often before they exhibited any signs of being ill or contagious.  Were those buses and planes disinfected and thoroughly cleaned before being put back into rotation for normal traffic, or are regular travelers being exposed unknowingly to infectious and contagious diseases?
“That’s what alerted me,” she said. “Oh, my God. They’re flying these kids around. Nobody knows that these children have scabies and lice. To tell you the truth, there’s no way to control it.”
“They did not want the community to know,” she said. “I initially spoke out at Lackland because I had a concern the children’s mental health care was not being taken care of.”
The counselor also said that the camp is being kept off limits to the public.  She ultimately decided to quit after her recommendation to commit a suicidal child to a psych ward was turned down.
“I made a recommendation that a child needed to be sent to a psychiatric unit,” the counselor told me. “He was reaching psychosis. He was suicidal. Instead of treating him, they sent him off to a family in the United States.”
She said she filed a Child Protective Services report and quit her job.
“I didn’t want to lose my license if this kid committed suicide,” she told me. “I was done.”
The counselor kept a detailed journal during her tenure at the camp.  She said she recently received a call from federal agents demanding she return to the base and hand over the journal, which she has refused to do.
“When people read that journal they are going to be astonished,” she said. ‘I don’t think they will believe what is going on in America.”
“They’re going to crush the system,” the nurse told me. “We can’t sustain this. They are overwhelming the system and I think it’s a travesty.”
A Baptist Children’s and Family Services spokesperson denied any cover up or wrong doing, and said that they take any allegations of such seriously.
What is happening on our border right now is downright tragic.  It is also highly dangerous.  These children are infected with highly contagious diseases, and there is no telling how many others have already been infected, but aren’t exhibiting symptoms yet.
There is great potential for this situation to spiral out of control, especially if one or two of these busloads of children being transported to various parts of the country are sick, infecting untold numbers of others without anybody being the wiser.  We could be looking at a serious epidemic outbreak if this continues unchecked.
This is all the more reason that we need to immediately shut down the border, with armed troops, cameras, drones, fences, whatever gets the job done.  We cannot allow any more of these sick children to come across our border, putting our entire population at risk of an outbreak, just because Obama wants to score political points or build up the Democrat voter base with newly legalized illegals.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter if you are outraged at what is happening, and what is being covered up, in this border crisis.
