There are reports of new problems with the affordable care act known as Obamacare.
Over 50,000 Texans who applied for health care are now being asked to provide information about their citizenship and immigration status before the September deadline.
About 310,000 people are receiving notices across the US.
The notice is to warn them about a discrepancy found on their immigration citizenship data.
The information they provided did not match what the federal government has on file.

Jose Medrano with Getcovered.org said there is no need to panic.

All they need to do is follow the instructions on the letter and provide documentation proving US citizenship to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
HHS will also be giving those who received letters phone calls in order to alert them about the discrepancy .
The deadline to make the necessary changes to your file is September 5th.
