12th arrest made in Little Mexico drive-by shooting

Authorities arrested and charged a 12th person in the Little Mexico drive-by shooting that happened in December 2014.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christian Coronado after he was wanted in the shooting.
Investigators said multiple suspects drove up to a home on the 2500 block of San Carlos Drive in Alamo.
The suspects allegedly shot at the victim and his friends while they were outside of the home.
Arrest warrants were then issued for 24-year-old Coronado after the HCSO conducted simultaneous raids in the south Alamo and Donna area.
During the raids, HCSO seized drugs and guns.
Hidalgo County Precinct 4 Place 1 Justice of the Peace Charlie Espinoza arraigned Coronado Friday.
He was charged with criminal attempt capital murder and engaging in criminal activity.
Judge Espinoza set the 24-year-old man’s total bond at $90,000.
Coronado is the 12th person to be arrested after the Little Mexico shooting.
The sheriff’s department arrested 11 people days after the December 1st shooting.
They were charged with:
• Jose Raquel Lerma, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Attempted Murder
• Daniel Villegas, Criminal Attempted Murder
• Jose Luis Gonzalez, Criminal Attempted murder
• Jose Antonio Lopez, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance
• Monica Lopez, Possession of a Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance
• Salina Aguilar, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance
• Maricela Lopez, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering a Child
• Leopoldo Hinojosa, Criminal Attempted Murder
•  Mike Casas, Criminal Attempted Murder
• Ricardo Melvin McDaniel, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
• Christian Vasquez,  Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon
