Obama’s New $3.7 Billion Invasion Assistance Financing Request Will Likely Be Used to Build New FEMA Camps

7/16/2014

The amount of money flying around during Obama’s invasion is staggering. Just last night, for example, we broke the story of tens of millions (likely to be discovered as hundreds of millions) of taxpayer dollars being funneled in to Catholic and Baptists Churches back in 2010-2013 for the purpose of preparing for this onslaught. Now we’re seeing requests for financial packages well into the billions with little to now full understanding of what it will actually be used for.

In fact, lawmakers are calling Obama’s gigantic request a blank check.

The president “is asking to use billions of taxpayer dollars without accountability or a plan in place to actually stop the border crisis,” Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said in a statement.

One part of the cost that is being explained, though, is a massive portion of the funds to be used for new detention centers built on U.S. soil. Via the same WP story.

Administration officials said the request is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance. President Obama has said he hopes such steps will speed deportations and discourage adults from sending children on a dangerous, sometimes deadly, trip north.

The story goes on to talk about how the billions of dollars would be split amongst Obama’s most powerful departments. HHS, Homeland Security, the DOJ and the State Department.

Under the White House proposal, most of the emergency funds would be split between the Department of Health and Human Services — which would receive $1.8 billion to provide shelter and care to the immigrants — and the Justice and Homeland Security departments, which would get a combined $1.6 billion to handle enforcement.

The State Department would receive $300 million to help the Central American countries repatriate their citizens and create advertising campaigns about the dangers of placing children in the hands of smuggling cartels. The White House request also includes money to help the federal government fight wildfires.

Don’t think the fed is using FEMA camps already? Check out this memo from earlier this year.
In a memo that describes an “urgent humanitarian situation,” Obama has put the Federal Emergency Management Agency in charge of coordinating humanitarian relief to the children, including housing, care, medical treatment and transportation.

And remember when, just a few weeks back, a Congressman was denied access to FEMA facility holding illegal aliens?

Now remember, FEMA is a department of Homeland Security. When the fed builds this kind of facility, they don’t do it through HHS, DOJ or State Department. They do it through FEMA of Homeland Security.

Also of note… FEMA camps can be used for any purpose in a time of crisis or emergency. Just because they’re built for Obama’s illegal invasion does not mean that is the only purpose for which they can be used.

This is incredible considering that as recently as two years ago much of the fed denied these kinds of federal facilities even existed!
