A Guatemalan immigrant was arrested for stabbing his girlfriend to death.

Pedro Alberto Monterosso-Navas, who was wanted for second degree murder, was arrested at a trailer park in Katy, Texas on Monday.
Monterosso-Navas was previously processed at the McAllen border patrol station, according to Breitbart.com.
He was caught crossing the US-Mexico border in Texas on June 26th with two of his children, but he was released, AP reported.
Monterosso had three of his children with him, but they are safe, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The children knocked on neighbors doors after their 24-year-old mother was killed, WDSU said.
He is accused of killing his girlfriend in a New Orleans apartment, the Associated Press reported.
She was found in a bathtub at the apartment.
