SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The search continues for the person or people responsible for the shootings of six people early Wednesday morning as patrons exited a hip-hop concert in San Francisco.
The attacks took place before 1:00 a.m. outside the Brick and Mortar music hall located at 1710 Mission St.
Gunfire hit six people. Two suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
Paramedics took four people to San Francisco General hospital. One victim showed up at S.F. General on foot while one other victim was taken by friends to a hospital outside San Francisco.
San Francisco police said that four of the victims are men in their 20s and one is a 21-year-old woman. The sixth victim was a male, but police did not immediately release his age and injuries.
Police have not yet released descriptions of the shooter or shooters. There is no word yet on a motive for the attacks.
According to the Brick and Mortar Music Hall’s website, Tuesday’s 18 and older concert featured San Francisco musicians G-Val and Show Banga. The show also featured Aka Frank and Yo Marlow, plus six other musicians, many from the Bay Area.
