Two men accused of fatally shooting an off-duty border patrol agent were formally charged.
They have pled not guilty in the killing of agent Javier Vega Jr.
Gustavo Sandoval, 30, Ismael Vallejo, 40, both appeared at the Willacy County courthouse.
They were indicted on capital murder and attempted capital murder charges.

Vega was shot dead in august during a robbery while fishing with family members.
Border Patrol officials were inside the courtroom today, and say this should have never happened.
Vallejo is scheduled to be back in court on June 11th, and Sandoval will be back on March 12th.
