A former Brownsville man will spend the next 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing two girls.
Robert Anthony Loya appeared before Judge Carlos X. Garcia in the 357th State District Court on Wednesday.
Loya pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.
Judge Garcia sentenced Loya to 30 years in prison for the aggravated sexual assault of a child and 15 years in prison for indecency with a child.
The two sentences will be served concurrently.
U.S. Deputy Marshals arrested Robert Anthony Loya in San Antonio back in June 2013.
Brownsville police originally filed the case where they reported Loya sexually abused a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl over three several years time.
