An armed group is making their way to the valley and they are expected to arrive by next week.
The group calls themselves 'The Patriots Information Hotline'.
On a Facebook post a few months back, they asked for volunteers to secure and close illegal immigrant crossing areas along the South Texas border starting in Laredo.
They also asked for all similar militia groups, state and nationwide to unite.
It all started with this call to action on Facebook posted by 'Patriotsinformationhotline'.
The group was asking for all Texas and national militia groups to unite to close down all border crossings stating: "operation complete when border fence is in place and secure."

Updates on their website show that their militia will begin a “border convoy” starting this Friday near San Diego, California and that it will eventually make its way to McAllen and Mission, Texas exactly one week from today.
“Our concern with any person that is carrying a firearm, especially along the U.S. - Mexico border, and our community has 13 miles of river we're responsible for. So yes, you do get concerned with situations like that," said Mission Police Chief Robert Dominguez.
Action 4 was not able to reach the militia group for comment, but we're told that they will be set up on private property.
Chief Dominguez said, "Obviously, they are exercising their rights as Americans in this country and if there are landowners along the U.S. - Mexico border that are allowing them to use their property, that is up to them and that is their right."
However, Chief Dominguez said if someone were to get hurt, there are consequences and land owners will also carry a certain amount of responsibility as well.
"And if incidents do happen on their property, the consequences to them as landowners as well as what can happen--a lot has to do with, more than anything, civil liability," said Chief Dominguez.
Chief Dominguez said that he has not been contacted about this particular militia group so he is not aware of their operation or when exactly they will be posted up.
Adding that he believes there are enough local, state, and federal agencies that have been doing a good job keeping the community safe amid this border crisis without the help of militia groups.
