One of San Juan’s most wanted suspect has been captured in Mexico after he allegedly abused multiple children while they were taking gymnastics classes.
Gregorio Nava Sr. was wanted on multiple counts of indecency with a child.
Police said he is charged with evading arrest and inappropriately touching at least 10 little girls at Powerhouse Gym.
The investigation into the suspected molestations is still ongoing.
San Juan Police Chief Juan Gonzalez said another victim came forward just yesterday.
Gonzalez confirmed the department had a report against Nava dating back to 2011.
In July of 2014 another victim came forward, and by September police had a total of five reports.
That’s when Nava fled to Mexico.
For the past month San Juan police have dedicated hundreds of hours tracking down victims in the case.
They've been contacting parents of girls who went to Powerhouse Gym over the past five years.
Nava was located in Zacatecas, Mexico, about 500 miles from the Rio Grande Valley.
He was working at Powerhouse Gym in San Juan when the alleged encounters occurred.
Investigators previously confirmed that Nava had contact with the children because he did office work at the gym.
Nava faces ten felony charges, and is currently being transported to the Hidalgo County Jail.
The judge did not issue a bond because Nava is at risk of fleeing from the area.
