Anchor Babies In The News: Woman jailed after having sex with teen, causing him to miss court hearing

A woman is out on bond after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with an underage boy who stayed at her home causing him to miss his court date.
Monica Ann Rodriguez is now out on bond after McAllen police arrested her for sexual assault.
The victim’s father said the underage boy met Rodriguez in August 2014.
Rodriguez reportedly knew the victim was only 16 years old at the time they had sex.
Documents stated that Rodriguez lied to her roommates about the boy’s age when he would go to her home in on the 6000 block of North 4th Street in McAllen.
The victim went to Rodriguez’s home Thursday, Oct. 23rd where they allegedly had sex and took a photo after the alleged sexual assault.
Rodriguez allegedly sent the photo to the victim through a Facebook message.
According to documents, the victim woke up late the next morning and missed his court hearing.
The father of the victim took the 16-year-old boy to his probation officer, and told him about the alleged incident.
The father reported the incident to McAllen and filed a report.
Police arrested 21-year-old Rodriguez on a sexual assault charge.
Rodriguez bonded out of the Hidalgo County Jail Tuesday on a $30,000.
