Professional quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow seems to be better known for his open display of Christian faith more than his football career with both the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.
With a nationwide support system, Tebow made headlines for wearing bible verses on his eye-blacks during games and kneeling in prayer on the field. Still, he was also widely heckled by those who thought he should keep his Christian beliefs to himself.

Now Tebow is a free agent, but that hasn’t stopped him from making the news yet again.
Saturday Tebow reported on the SEC network from Gainesville, Florida, and was caught doing something off-air that has the internet in an uproar.
Tebow took charge of the set, leading the group in prayer.
Christian singer Tanner Clark posted a snapshot of the moment on Facebook, which garnered quite a bit of attention.

While much of the nation might consider this act an inspirational display of unwavering faith, there are those that still consider it “shoving religion down their throats.”
We applaud Tebow for standing for his beliefs without being obnoxious or demanding, but in a quiet and humble manner that displays the true nature of Christianity. No bells and whistles. No prayer mats and chanting over speakerphones. Just the simple acknowledgment that he serves a higher power, and will properly use his constitutional rights to peaceably express that.
