Protesters in Philadelphia have adopted the phrase “Black Lives Matter” in the rallies. The phrase “Cop Lives Don’t Matter” is in reference to that:

Vandals in Philadelphia struck multiple times over the last two days. The vandalism came during a protest against perceived police brutality.
In one of the acts of vandalism, the words “Cop Lives Don’t Matter” were spray-painted on a fence. You can see the picture of that below:
In another, the vandals defaced a Church with the words “f*** cops” written in spray paint:

The protests in Philadelphia began anew after Brandon Tate-Brown was shot and killed by police after a struggle. Tate-Brown had been arrested before for attempted murder and a stolen gun was found in his rental car.
However, because Tate-Brown is African-American, members of the community have connected his death with other shootings in the nation, despite the facts showing he was the aggressor.
