Abortion Fund Offers Coat Hanger Necklace Pendant For Donors

Regardless of your position on abortion, I think we can all agree that the promotion offered by the D.C. Abortion Fund is as tasteless as it is offensive. The organization is offering a coat hanger necklace pendant to every person who donates $10 a month or more, according to their website. 

The fund provides “small patient grants” for women of the Washington D.C. area – Virginia and Maryland included – who cannot afford to pay for an abortion on their own. Their mission statement says the group aims to ”make ‘choice’ a reality because we believe that a woman’s right to healthcare should not depend on her wallet.”

Who really wants to wear such a horrifying image around their neck? Abortion should not be taken lightly, regardless of which side of the issue one stands.
