Indecency with 11-year-old lands Mercedesman immigrant behind bars
A man was arrested on a charge of indecency with an 11-year-old child.
Arturo Sandoval was arrested on March 14 after an outcry was made by the victim and her mother.
According to documents, Sandoval allegedly touched the 11-year-old girl over her clothes inappropriately and would kiss her mouth.
The 71-year-old was arrested by Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department.
The Mercedes man was booked at the Hidalgo County jail.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse.
