FORT WORTH, TEXAS (AP) -- Fort Worth police have arrested a teen for making a terroristic threat after seeing a photo he posted with a gun pointed at a police car.
Montrae Toliver was arrested Monday. The 17-year-old is accused of posting a photo on Twitter with the caption: "Should I do it? They don't care for a black male anyways."
The same Twitter account later posted that the gun was an Airsoft replica, which Fort Worth police spokeswoman Tamara Pena said authorities have confirmed. Pena added that police still considered the photo a threat.
She said someone saw the photo, took a screenshot and sent it to the police department's Facebook page.
It was not immediately clear where Toliver was being held Monday evening. A phone number for Toliver's family could not be found.
