For some reason an American heart is a bad thing to Democrat candidate King. King's idea of a leeching, "all you can get from handouts" heart is a true Latino heart. As always, the true democrat heart comes shining through, again.

New Mexico Attorney General and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gary King is under fire for what some are calling a racially-charged statement about his opponent, Gov. Susana Martinez.
The Weekly Standard, a conservative news website, posted a video of King speaking at the Valencia County Democrats' fundraiser in Belen over the weekend.
In the video, King starts by quoting Hispanic labor activist Dolores Herta: "She said you can't go out there and just vote for somebody for governor because they have a Latino surname. She said you have to look at them and find out if they have a Latino heart," he then continues, "And we know that Susana Martinez does not have a Latino heart."
Several conservative websites picked up the video to provide their own commentary, calling King's words "highly offensive" and "shameful."
Martinez responded in a prepared statement: "I'm not sure what Gary King meant by what he said, so I'm not going to accuse him of racism We certainly have different views on the issues, but I know what's in my heart and I won't question what's in his."
Martinez, elected in 2010, is the first female Hispanic governor in the country.
