A woman wanted for being a "purse predator" in McAllen is behind bars after gettting arrested just a couple of hours northwest of the Rio Grande Valley.
Laredo police arrested 19-year-old Nohely Marie Leyva on Wednesday afternoon.
Details about her arrested were not immediately but McAllen police said Leyva is wanted for two strong arm robbies in McAllen.
McAllen police said Leyva is wanted for taking purses by force from women shopping at La Plaza Mall and the Palms Crossing Shopping Center.
Leyva was booked into the Webb County Jail where she is awaiting extradition to McAllen.
